Use Keywords In Your Articles
Im always amazed, as an article directory owner, just how many authors will take the time to sit and write a great article, submit it to my directory, yet only have their main keyword appear once in their article.
Try to repeat your keyword throughout the body. But you will also need to try to keep the keyword at a 2 ratio. So if you write 500 words, try to have your keyword appear at least 8 to 10 times.Its a touchy situation, because, if you use your keywords too much, than your article will be viewed as spam.
The search engines need to see your keywords appear more often early, so they can index your page subject properly and will add some weight to your keyword relavancy. Msn clearly looks for bolding and keyword consistancy, when they spider your page.
Article Spelling Mistakes
I personally have done this a few times. Heck, any author has. Sometimes, I write late at night, when I am over tired. This is a huge mistake on my part. Its kind of like drinking a 12 pack and than sitting down to write an article.
Ill come back the next day and be like, what the heck is that! Ill find error after error. So, a good tip here is to write, when you are wide awake and with it. Otherwise, your article, will be doomed before it even gets submitted.
Use a good text editor to write with. A good text editor is worth a million bucks! Just think about how much time you save with them. You will defiantely, cut down on your re-submissions for one.
And Lastly, Use your Authors Resource Box
Ive seen this mistake, a few too many times. Authors will write a great article and totally blow it, when they get to the authors resource box.
Again, make sure and use relative keywords here. Also make the keyword an anchor for your link. This will give you a valuable, backlink. Targeting the keywords that the article was written for, in the first place.
