After more than a year with the iPhone 4, Apple has introduced the iPhone 4S in the Let’s talk iPhone 2011 event held in the Apple’s campus іn Cupertino, California аѕ opposed tο Apple’s standard venue, thе Moscone Center іn San Francisco at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Apple upgraded the phone with an 8-megapixel sensor, the dual-core A5 chip, new voice control feature, a new wireless system supporting better call quality and faster download speeds and 16, 32 or 64GB of storage. The battery performance 8 hours 3G talk time, 14 on 2G, 6 hours 3G browing, 9 on WiFi, 10 hours video playback and 40 hours on music audition.
However, Apple's latest creation - the iPhone 4S - is still a tad disappointing to expectation of millions of tech fans. The hardware offers no design overhaul.

Like the iPhone, the smartphone is a real 3G-capable handset. Previously, a number of rumors had suggested Apple would launch a 4G-enabled iPhone in the fall. The iPhone 4S' ability is to double the theoretical maximum HSDPA data speed to a 4G-like 14.4 Mbps.

Saying “yes” to the rumors of revised model of last year's iPhone 4, the company unveiled the iPhone 4S and no iPhone5. After all, Apple's magical 5th-generation phone remained a mystery to feature-hungry iPhone fans. Analyst Will Strauss, president of wireless chip market research firm Forward Concepts, "iPhone 5" will be saved for the 4G LTE technology.

The next Apple product is described to have “Same on the outside, better on the inside”. The phone has no daring teardrop shape or truly cutting-edge look as expected.
