Two of the hottest phones on the market today are the Apple iPhone 4G and the HTC EVO 4G. Find out what happens when the two phones face off in a smartphone showdown: Apple iPhone 4G vs HTC EVO 4G.
The first thing we take a look at in regards to the phones is the display. First of all the EVO has a much larger display than the iPhone. The 4.3 inch EVO screen is almost a full inch larger than the 3.5 inch iPhone screen. Bigger isn't always better though as the iPhone and its beautiful retina display offers almost double the number of pixels as the EVO giving the clear edge to the iPhone 4.
Let's take a look at the operating systems next. Quite honestly both operating systems are excellent. The Android 2.1 and the iOS 4 both exceed all expectations when it comes to mobile operating systems. Both have their advantages over the other like Android's open source and Apple's incredible App Store. In the end, though It's a tie as there is no real clear cut winner.
The camera is one feature that the EVO excels over the iPhone. Although both the iPhone 4G and the EVO 4G have dual cameras, the primary EVO camera takes better pictures than the iPhone. In addition, the EVO actually has a dual flash which should help night time pictures.
Let's take a look at some other areas the iPhone excels. I think the edge for battery life and storage both go to the iPhone while the processor is pretty much a wash as is phone performance.
When talking connectivity however, the EVO is much faster than the iPhone. This is a true 4G phone on a 4G network. Plus the EVO can act as a wifi hotspot. Nice touch.
After handling both phones, it's tough to call a winner in the "Apple iPhone 4G vs HTC EVO 4G" duel, but I have to give the edge to the iPhone.
